Thought About Publishing an Article?Well, here is your chance. PRO, the District 38 Newsletter, is inviting you to submit an article for publication. Each month we will feature guest writers and you are asked to write an article that you feel will help other Club Officers in their leadership roles. Whether you have been a Toastmasters for many years, or just a few, you have ideas to share that can help others clubs with their success. In addition, it looks great on your resume to show that you have been published. Please send submissions to Traudi at: pro@tmdistrict38.org. |

What can we do when a speaker goes beyond the allotted time? |
Sometimes a speaker will run over the suggested timeframe, and continue speaking even after the red timing signal has been shown. Any suggestions? |

AMAZING ANNIVERSARIES |
You’re How Old? | |
It is amazing to think that some of our clubs have been in existence for half a century and more. It is a testimony to the fact that Toastmasters is an organization that brings value and benefits to its members. Philadelphia's First Toastmasters Club was founded in 1947 and celebrates its 61st Anniversary. Valley Forge Club celebrates its 56th Anniversary, having chartered in 1952. CNH America Club celebrates 40 years and ASTM celebrates 28 years. |
