Maryellen White Pays it Forward with 'Energy'

Some club names truly make a statement and Maryellen White has demonstrated that she not only is Positively Charged, but also knows how to Pay it Forward.

Maryellen is one of 5 employees that will be recognized for outstanding leadership in community service by Exelon (PECO) Energy Chairman John W. Rowe as part of its 'Energy for the Community' program.

The team she led helped the Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA) prepare and deliver over 17,500 free meals each week to seriously ill individuals. This is certainly an accomplishment worthy of recognition and celebration.

It doesn't end there either.  MANNA will share in Maryellen's victory too because they'll receive a $10,000 donation from Exelon.

Support your local contests

It takes a lot of work to put a contest together and there's nothing good speakers like more than a packed house so please support your local contests.

Most Toastmasters know that you can learn a lot just sitting in the audience.  That goes double when the speakers are some of our best.  But why settle for simply being a spectator when you can actively participate in so many ways?  Why not contact your Area and Division Governors and offer to help?

The schedule for Division contests is on the District home page in the right sidebar with links to the calendar.  Area contests can also be found on the calendar.

TI Single signon - Is your profile current?

Complete and accurate profiles ensure that we can effectively communicate with our membership.  While a current and correct email address has always been a key piece of information it is about to take on an increased significance.

Toastmasters International will be moving to a new single signon process based on your email address so this would be a good time to review your profile and make any necessary updates.

You can access your profile from the TI Login Page.  If you haven't changed your Login ID it's your member number which can be found on any issue of Toastmaster magazine.
